NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Country music favorite and host of SiriusXM’s LIVE WIRE show, T. Graham Brown will release an acoustic album for the first time in his career, Bare Bones, on October 9 through his partnership with Time Life. The album features stripped-down and reimagined versions of his biggest hits, including his number one hit songs "Hell and High Water,” “Don’t Go To Strangers,” and “Darlene.” 'Bare Bones' was produced by T. Graham Brown and Buddy Hyatt. Fans will be able to hear the 12-track collection on all major streaming platforms or purchase a limited-edition autographed CD on Brown’s website HERE. They’ll also be able to put in special requests for his autograph and ask him questions during his Facebook Live CD signing event on October 20 at 5 pm CT / 6 pm ET.

Visit HERE to listen or download on all major streaming platforms.

“This project is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time,” explains Brown. “There is a special vibe that you feel when it’s just a vocal and guitar. The lyrics are more present. It reminds me of why I recorded these songs in the first place. I hope y’all enjoy this record as much as I did making it.”

Bare Bones is the latest project from T. Graham Brown for Time Life, which reissued five of his albums earlier this year including 'T. Graham Brown Lives!' (which hadn’t been available in nearly 20 years), 'From a Stronger Place', 'The Next Right Thing', 'Christmas with T. Graham Brown', and his GRAMMY-nominated album 'Forever Changed' (featuring Leon Russell, The Oak Ridge Boys, Steve Cropper, Jimmy Fortune, and more). All are currently available on major digital and streaming platforms.

Always

I’ve left myself for dead many years ago
I’d always thought this was it,
then I saw your face

Tell me tell me
What can I do
to stop the pain

I’ll always love you
No matter what happens

I feel your pain across the room
It’s ok to cry
Let it out let it out

Your feelings are so fresh and new
The ones I have grown used to

I’ll always love you
No matter what happens

And when I hear you scream
It reminds me
Of what I’ve kept inside

You have the secrets
of the world
locked inside of you

So much potential
it’s just the beginning

I speak and
you just stare at me

I can only hope
that this is love

I hold you close
And you cry into me

What a wonder you are
Evolving every day

I don’t want to let you go
We can run away

I’ll always love you
No matter what happens

Interview with Lachie A'rden

Lachie A'rden

What first got you into music ?
My kidney transplant I.had in 2002 failed and I went onto dialysis in 2018. By early 2029 this had forced me out of my job (at the time working from home was not accepted) so when I finished up my last client I decided I'd do something I enjoyed (for fun) and booked a DJ course. One thing led to another, i started producing, found I not only loved it but was quite good and have been obsessed with music ever since. I had no previous musical background or training.

Who Inspired you to create music ?
Music came to me at a difficult time in my life health wise and provided me with focus, positivity and happiness. My music is a.refection of this, very uplifting, feel good vibes.

What kind of music do you make?
Uplifting piano house / dance

What is your creative process like?
A sea of ideas that never feel i have enough time to get to. I would love to just write music all day every day but then nothing would get finished. When I sit down for a creative session I might write 3-5 songs in a few hours, take the best ones and share with the vocalists I work with. Once I have a vocal i will rework the instrumental to fit with the vocalists vision to create the final piece.

Who would you most like to collaborate with?
Wow, there are so many talented artists out there... I'd love to work with a band like The Killers or someone like Eddie Vedder. They have made some of my all time favourite songs and I'd love to make some modern piano house style tracks with them.

If you could go to an open show by any artist who would it be?
Kygo

What is one message you would give to your fans ?
Thank you for supporting me from the beginning. We're on a journey together and when you invest in something early and watch it grow the reward is far greater.

What is the most useless talent you have ?
I'm an excellent paper plane maker.

Do you sing in the shower? which songs?
Not really, I only sing when listening to music but then its everything!

What would you be doing now if it wasn't music
I had an 18 year career in management consultanting before starting in music but now that I have left it behind I think I would have to look.for something more creative. Perhaps interior design or architecture.

Where have you performed ? Favourite? Worst? Do you have any gigs coming up?
Ministry of Sound. Egg London. Many other small venues. I've never had a gig i didn't enjoy. I.just love playing music to a big crowd or to myself. It's a privilege to be able to do what you love every day.

How do you feel the internet has changed music ?
When I was growing up your favourite band might release once every two years. You valued those releases and learned to like the songs that weren't immediately appealing, these often became favourites with more layers and depth. Today album releases are becoming less common place and music is disposable, songs are becoming shorter and less layered. I look forward to a time when I've built my audience and I can indulge in longer more layered version of my music.

What is your favourite song to perform? *
One of my unreleased songs called Reaching Out as my closing track.

what famous musicians do you admire ?
Eddie Vedder. Taylor Swift (watch her doco) Brandon Flowers

whats the worst trouble you have been in?
Ive always been pretty straight to be honest...

whats the best ever advice you have been given ?
Listen more than you talk and value other ideas as much as your own.
If you could change anything about the music industry what would it be ?
Regulate many aspects of the industry including labels, contracts, gig bookings and so on so young artists are not taken advantage of.

Whats next for you ?
I have a huge schedule of new music to be released including songs with some incredible and well known vocalists which I am excited about. Then hopefully 2021 offers a better landscape for live music.

Answers.

It has singlehandedly eliminated the power that record labels once had.. it has leveled the playing field and allowed everyone to try their hand. That is a positive thing. But it's also a negative thing because it has allowed EVERYONE TO TRY THEIR HAND. As in.. there is SO MUCH STUFF out there.. it's almost impossible to get noticed... promotion is key.. but it becomes a complete FULL TIME JOB. Then, there are the evil actors in the group.. the so called "promotion" companies that offer to promote your music. So far, we have gotten burned by TWO such entities.. they talk a good talk.. walk the walk.. their sites look legit.. they interact with you one on one and make you feel confident they are on the level.. you pay them, they disappear. Scavengers.

It broke the barrier between the audience & the performer giving everyone a chance regardless of how they look, who they know, or what executives think of them. It also opened the door for a lot of talentless acts to expose their work. However, I think people do the filtering now, and for the mist part do a fine job. There are exceptions but good music is not someone’s opinion & expendable music has always been with or without labels so I rather it be an open fair chance for everybody, like the internet allows.

I think it completely changed not just music but the world. Some of the biggest ways I think it changed music would be how it's distributed, listened to, consumed, and how much time and money it takes to make it. Also gimmicks and troll artists have sort of infiltrated every genre with hiphop being hit the hardest. On the other hand the exposure and sharing of music was increased exponentially to where we sort of have a renaissance era of everyone wanting to make music.

Unfortunately I feel the internet has hallowed out the business model that once supported the music industry, as a result very few musicians can earn a living from it these days. On a more positive note, it has created opportunities for musicians to interact directly with people who are Interested in their music

The internet has been incredible for music. You no longer have to live in a big city to succeed, and the recent events, with us having to stay home, has really proven that. I've collaborated with people from all over the world thanks to social media so I feel pretty blessed to be living in these times!

Of course. When I began music, it was so hard to make a record and broadcasting it. now, anyone can almost for free. it's a huge difference. My music can be found in the same place as Taylor Swift, it was'nt possible before. And collab with people at the other end of the world are possible.

Good points are that it offers the artist more opportunities to be heard and grow their brand. On the negative side there are many dodgy promoters out there that take advantage of artists by offering fake streams, etc

The pandemic has forced musicians to collaborate over Zoom, and websites like Kompoz. Before then, it was mostly a bad influence.

Everything is more available now and easier to access, even smaller indie artists have a better chance to be heard

In a way you have the ability to see and hear artists from around the world. Which is good

More choice and freedom on the one hand. A severe undervaluing of creators on the other.

Sucks that music is free now... I do wonder how much great stuff gets lost in the noise

For good more audience and oportunities for Indie artists

It has made music more accessible for everyone.

Accessibility

Very good
