Lo-fi (from low fidelity) is music in which elements usually regarded as imperfections are audible, sometimes as a deliberate choice. The quality of music production has evolved throughout the decades, meaning earlier examples of lo-fi may not have been originally recognized as such. Lo-fi began to be recognized as a style in its own right in the 1990s, when it became alternately referred to as DIY music.

Consider this Lo Fi playlist on spotify with over 1 million listeners it is certainly a genre that has a significant following. Among the artists on this playlist are Bertholet and Ta-ku both of whom have a significant audience over 1 million listeners each.

Temple is a music producer based in London and Los Angeles(Jesus Crites). He makes soulful Hip Hop, RnB, Dance and Pop music. His tracks have been featured by BBC introducing. He regularly hosts user insight/demo sessions for Native Instruments and is currently gearing up to DJ at some major festivals around Europe this summer.

Introducing Daniel Soldano

Daniel Soldano was born in Genoa, Italy, in 2001.

He started singing just for fun at 15, then with time and passion, it became more serious, winning his first competition of his region:"Fantastico Festival".

He has two singles on all digital stores, his first "Questions for You" with the official video on his YouTube channel, and "Those Things" his most recent release. 

Both of them were written and produced by Daniel, except for the mixing and mastering of his first song. He already has many of his own songs in his repertoire and he's ready to release them in due course.

He also studied dance, hip-hop and breakdance for 9 years, that can compliment his live singing performance.

"This is a story of sadness, it is based on a real situation, when I met a Russian girl in Prague, we were laughing & drinking and she looked happy, but after several weeks she started to send  crazy messages, so finally, she was diagnosed with schizophrenia and then she was sent to Russia, unfortunately, she was alone and nobody controlled her health & mental condition. 

She was placed in the cheapest free hospital with this diagnosis. I tried to help her, in the beginning I just tried to support her with Facebook communications & sending her  films and music, then I tried to find a proper doctor for her. But it was too late - she was already poisoned with all this “killing mind and body” medicines. Afterwards, she stopped communicating. I lost connection."

Alex Kelman's musical output is a mixture of beautifully noisy guitars, catchy dance beats and arresting synths, layered with captivating vocals. Since 2015 Alex Kelman has released 2 full albums, played over 200 show at clubs and festivals in Europe, Russia and China and South America.

The latest from the singer/songwriter showcases his gift for tender balladry. In his still young career, Mark Henes has put his own unique stamp on everything from country to punk, bringing new inspiration to America’s most beloved genres. Now with ‘Arm Full of Roses,’ he shows off his natural songwriting abilities with a romantic country ballad.

Stripped down to the bare essentials, Henes’ strong baritone takes center stage on this track. The minimalist production enhances the purity of the songwriting, as Henes’ warm and comforting lyrics guide the way through doo-wop harmonies and reverb heavy guitar.

Born and raised in Nashville, TN, Henes’ career as a musician seemed almost predetermined. Growing up in the recording capitol of America, he was constantly surrounded by music.
